On behalf of the clients and staff at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, I want to express my appreciation for your continued commitment to our Women’s Residential and Counseling Center (WRCC).  You, your volunteers and sponsors at Space to Grow have truly made a difference in the lives of the women and children we serve at WRCC.  The “Baskets of Love” that overflow with hygiene supplies, detergent, quarters for laundry, gift cards, and other items have made Valentine’s Day extra-special for a number of years.

The thousands of dollars raised through your vacation package raffles last year and this have gone far to fund some of the specific needs at this transitional housing facility; and  the December 13^th Day of Beauty was a great success.

These are but a few of the many ways you have given to the Coalition.   We are extremely fortunate to have your dedication to our mission and, through Space to Grow, that of everyone who is working with you.

We are in the final stages of preparation for this year’s Baskets of Love; it is not too late to haelp.

The following items are still needed: prizes for the prize wheel (gift cards, gift baskets, certificates for dinner); $10 rolls of quarters to help subsidize their expenses; purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of three great vacations (3 days/2 nights hotel stay).

We are in the home stretch of this year’s Baskets of Love event for WRCC.  Most of our basket have been assigned and we have just announced the prizes for our 2nd Annual Baskets of Love Raffle.  Tickets are available for purchase now until the drawing on February 5th.  We are still in need of supporters to donate gift cards for the Prize Wheel so that each adult resident will leave the event with an extra gift. There are also opportunities available for corporations to help us purchase the laundry supplies for the event. This event is successful because of the support we receive. Thank you for helping us to celebrate 5 years of serving others, sharing our time and talents and supporting the non profit organizations who are in need.
